Kimball Jones is a group of like-minded associates who, at one time or another in their lives, committed their full time, energy and talents to outdoor adventure and exploration, not only for their own pleasure, and enjoyment, but more often in the service of others, as guides. Activities of this group were as varied as those of the clients they now serve – jungle trekking, cross-country cycling, river rafting, ocean-rowing, big-wall climbing. The common denominator that holds this group together is their love and admiration for high quality, technically innovative and ever evolving hard gear and clothing apparel, and the Internet. The associates at Kimball Jones want everyone, everywhere to have access to the latest discoveries and innovations that are routinely incorporated into sports, camping and backpacking equipment, and the Internet is the medium to providing this access, even to Newt and Sharon Haigh, residents at the remote Yellow Pine Bar cabin on the Salmon River, in Idaho. Kimball Jones is very particular about the equipment it sells, and the company will only sell the best of the best. If our associates, who know and understand life in the backcountry, won’t use the equipment, it won’t be offered to the public.
